Dr. Madison Smith

Senior Research and Evaluation Analyst

Madison holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO), a Master of Public Health from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan. Her doctoral research focused on adapting Nav-CARE, a healthcare system navigation program, to the dementia context, and on evaluating the program to better support care partners and persons living with dementia.

Madison enjoys applying her academic, research, and practical skills to drive meaningful improvements in the health system through evaluation work and is passionate about generating insights that can be used to improve programs and outcomes for patients, providers and communities. Madison is currently supporting the evaluation of several primary care and primary care network initiatives across BC.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys concerts, snowboarding, traveling, reading, exercising, and spending time with her friends, family, and two cats.
