Téa Rawsthorne Eckmyn

Research Assistant

Téa holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia with Honours in Sociology. Prior to joining the Reichert & Associates team, Téa was part of a multidisciplinary research team at UBC, where she supported projects focused on newcomers' use and experience of community-based organizations and social services. Téa has also worked in community and non-profit settings, where she has supported community-based participatory research, as well as funds development and community programming. These experiences have shaped her interest in participatory research as a tool to inform and strengthen social and health services, with a focus on equity and community engagement.

Téa is currently supporting the evaluations of several primary healthcare initiatives, including Primary Care Networks across BC.

Outside of work, Téa spends time outside hiking, biking, and climbing in beautiful Coast Salish Territories. She also loves to read, paint, and cook with friends.
